2016 FFN Golden Tour Camille Muffat – Marseille: Preview

2016 FFN Golden Tour Camille Muffat – Marseille

The third and final stage of the 2016 FFN Golden Tour Camille Muffat takes place on March 4-6 at the 5ème Meeting Open de la Méditerranée in Marseille. After Nice and then Amiens, the Golden Tour will wrap up at the Cercle des Nageurs de Marseille, home of most of the French men’s national team.

  • Nice – Friday, January 22 through Sunday, January 24, 2016
  • Amiens – Friday, February 5 through Sunday, February 7, 2016
  • Marseille – Friday, March 4 through Sunday, March 6, 2016

Some of the top women international swimmers entered in the meet are Katinka Hosszu, Sarah Sjostrom, Fran Halsell, Mireia Belmonte Garcia, Viktoria Zeynep Gunes, Silvia Di Pietro, Veronika Popova, Annika Bruhn, Katarine Savard, Anastasiia Fesikova, Georgia Davies, Evelyn Verraszto, Erica Musso, Elena Gemo, Lisa Graf, and Jessica Vall Montero. The men will include Marco Orsi, James Guy, Steffen Diebler, Paul Biedermann, Daniel Jervis, Simone Sabbione, Christian Diener, Liam Tancock, Marco Koch, Christian vom Lehn, Erik Persson, Adam Barrett, Matteo Rivolta, Francesco Pavone, and David Verraszto.

The 2016 FFN Golden Tour circuit prize money will be awarded at the conclusion of the Marseille stage to the top 5 female performers and the top 5 male performers from the three meets. So far, the leaders are:
