About a month ago, we had Australian superstar swimmer Jess Schipper on to talk about some of the charitable work she’s been doing with the MND and Me Foundation. The event is now under a week away, and it’s time to make a final push to help her fundraise!
Please visit Jess’ donation page to help out if you can. You can get to it through this link or the banner at the top of your screen.
MND, also known as ALS or “Lou Gehrig’s Disease” is a devistating disease with no known cause or cure from the disease. It results in a progressive muscle weakness that leads to paralysis and eventually death. Approximately 30,000 people in the United States alone are affected by this disease.
Here’s some pictures of Jess, 8-time Olympic medalist Susie O’Neill, and MND and Me founder Scott Sullivan.
