Florida, Alabama, Florida State Expected At Georgia Tech Mid-Season Invite

Another piece of the NCAA mid-season invite puzzle is falling into place, with top programs Florida, Alabama and Florida State expected to attend the Georgia Tech Invite.

Georgia Tech provided us with a preliminary list of programs currently scheduled to compete:

  • University of Alabama
  • East Carolina University
  • Florida State University
  • University of Florida
  • Georgia Southern University
  • Georgia Tech
  • University of North Carolina
  • University of South Carolina
  • University of Utah

Georgia Southern only has a women’s program, but the other schools appear in line to bring both their men’s and women’s teams to Georgia Tech. The Georgia Tech Invite takes place from November 22-24 in Atlanta. That’s the first major weekend of mid-season invites, but the latest of that weekend with a Friday-through-Sunday schedule.

Here’s a quick look at the current lineup of mid-season invites for major programs, based on what we’ve reported so far this season:
