GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The ranked Florida men’s and women’s swim and dive team remain home to face the highly-ranked Georgia Bulldogs on Friday, Oct. 27, with diving events starting Thursday night at 5 p.m inside the O’Connell Center. It’s the first SEC dual-meet of the season for both teams.

Friday’s meet is scheduled for 11 a.m., with live timing available on the MeetMobile app.

Following a split against Virginia on Oct. 13th, the men will look to knock off their second-straight opponent ranked in the top-15 after a 106-point win over No. 15 Virginia. The women will look to bounce back after dropping to the top-ranked Cavaliers 164-136, and search for the first ranked win of the season.

After the Gators success against Virginia, Florida swept the SEC Weekly Awards on Oct. 17. Joshua Liendo was named SEC Men’s Swimmer of the Week, Conor Gesing earned SEC Diver of the Week and Jonny Marshall snagged Men’s Freshman of the Week. On the women’s side, Emma Weyant was named Co-Swimmer of the Week, Ana Monroy earned Co-Diver of the Week and Bella Sims added her second Freshman of the Week honor to her collegiate resume.
