Bobby Finke battled alone on the Paris Olympic stag, swimming to a new World Record in the men’s 1500 meter freestyle. Finke stopped the clock at 14:30.67, breaking Sun Yang‘s historic mark earned back at the London Olympics in 2012 (14:31.02). Finke also re-broke his own Americas Record which he swam at the 2023 World Championships (14:31.59).
