Four Tigers Finish in Top-10 On Day 2 of Auburn Diving Invitational

AUBURN, ALA. – The LSU Diving team finished day two of the Auburn Diving Invitational on a high note, with four top-ten finishers. The Tigers will be back in action tomorrow as the women will compete on the Three-Meter Springboard at 11 a.m. CT and the men on Platform at 3 p.m. CT. 

On Men’s Three-Meter, Juan Celaya-Hernandez made it two wins in two days. A day after winning one-meter, he won three-meter with a score of 473.85. This marks the second time this season Celaya-Hernandez has won three-meter, and it is his highest score through the first three competitions this season. He won the event by over 37 points.

On Women’s One-Meter, Montserrat Gutierrez Lavenant finished in third place with a score of 288.10. Helle Tuxen and Anne Tuxen finished in fourth and sixth place rounding out the trio of Tigers in the top-ten for the women. Helle Tuxen dove to a score of 279.05 and Anne Tuxen dove to a score of 267.40.
