After serving as a student assistant coach since January 2021, four-time All-American Jeremy Davie has moved into the role of assistant coach for the USC men’s water polo program, head coach Marko Pintaric announced today (August 17).
“Jeremy helped USC win four national championships as a player, so he understands the Trojan culture that those championship teams had,” Pintaric said of Davie. “He’s bringing valuable experience as a center and will be working with our centers and center backs to continue their excellence. I’m looking forward to having him on staff as an assistant coach.”

A native of Australia, Davie concluded his USC playing career in 2013 as a four-time NCAA champion with the Trojans. He scored 129 goals as a Trojans, ranking No. 22 all-time on USC’s career scoring chart. Davie was teammates with current USC assistant coach Connor Virjee through the Trojans’ national championship run from 2010-2013. In addition to his four All-America accolades, Davie was a two-time All-MPSF First Team pick and was a three-time NCAA All-Tournament Second Team selection.

The two-meter man also competed for the Australian National Team. As a pro, Davie competed in Spain, Hungary and Israel. Before coming back to USC, Davie opened the Athletic Development Centre in  Sydney, Australia, to facilitate elite training for young athletes.

As a student assistant coach last season, Davie helped the USC women win the 2021 national championship and saw USC men reach the NCAA final.
