The lineup for year’s Raia Rapida sprint meet, which will take place this upcoming Sunday on the 25th of September, is now out.
According to swimchannel.net, the hometown team has had a change: Guilherme Guido has been swapped out of the backstroke for Henrique Rodrigues for the Brazilian roster. The full rosters for Brazil, Italy, the U.S., and South Africa are as follows:

- Breast – Joao Gomes Jr.
- Fly – Henrique Martins
- Free – Bruno Fratus
ITALY
- Back – Simone Sabbioni
- Breast – Fabio Scozzoli
- Fly – Daniele D’Angelo
- Free – Mirco Di Tora
U.S.
- Back – Eugene Godsoe
- Breast – Mike Alexandrov
- Fly – Tim Phillips
- Free – Anthony Ervin
SOUTH AFRICA
- Back – Gerhard Zandberg
- Breast – Giulio Zorzi
- Fly – Roland Schoeman
- Free – Douglas Erasmus
Each member of each team will race a 50 in their respective stroke, with the meet culminating in a 200 medley relay. Swimmers will be vying for points, with 100,000 Brazilian Reals at stake (roughly $30,000 USD).
The meet will take place at the Olympic pool in Rio. This is the fifth time that the Raia Rapida has taken place; you can find more information on the meet website.
