George Washington Men’s Team Takes Third At Magnus Cup

The George Washington men’s swimming and diving team travelled to Cleveland State to compete in the three-day Magnus Cup Invitational. The team scored 799.5 points, enough to earn third out of nine teams competing.

Jake Ortiz captured a win in the 1m diving event, while Andrew Cho took second in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:57.27.

The team doesn’t compete again until Jan.13 with they host Georgetown and George Mason.
