It’s Holiday training time and many swim teams are gearing up for their hardest practices of the season. The swimming community needs a fun challenge that can take their mind off the daily grind of bettering themselves through hours and hours of tireless work. Well, here you go.
NCAA All-American Grant House became the fastest swimmer ever (that we know of) to swim a 1-stroke 50y breast, clocking 28.21 (12.28-15.93). House was fully suited and fully stached, which he attributed his success in this swim to.

That was just incredible!
House also has six more years of eligibility
All the negative comments just go to show how many haters and unhappy people are out there. Don’t imagine a single person commenting anything negative can swim at any high level.
Best sport, prescribed by prophet Muhammad peace be upon him
Weird fun “record” > weirdly negative comments. Thanks for posting!
I’m actually curious how he keeps from floating to the surface. Gives me hope for my breaststroke!
Just keep blowing bubbles and it balances out.
This is impressive. But pales compared to the 1:54 he threw down in a seeded heat in the 200 Free at 2016 Trials. Dudes a legend. Just ask him.
I forgot about that! Why’d he sandbag it so badly?
I love how swim fans will complain about the sport not getting enough publicity and needing some spice to attract outside attention but then when the “wrong” person is having fun with the sport (which helps bring eyes to sport) y’all act like someone just stepped on your lawn by accident.
I’m thinking Buckeyeboy must have lost a tough one to Grant in the Ohio High Shool meet!
This weird record is more fun than all of the weirdly negative comments, so thanks for this!
I’m wondering if he exhaled on the way in, because it is legitimately hard to hold a streamline that long underwater without kicking.
Unfortunately for me, if I could go 45 yards underwater, I’d still need 3 breast strokes. #notarealstroke
Glad we’re celebrating someone that could bring down swimming because of his lawsuit 🙄
All House, all the time.
I thought I was the only one thinking this!!! But surely football and basketball players are celebrating him.
