GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay swimming and diving program continued its season Friday afternoon, hosting St. Norbert at Dorschel Natatorium. The men took their matchup 220-66, while the women won 200-80.

MEN’S HIGHLIGHTS

  • Max Boehnlein touched the wall first in the 1,000-yard freestyle (10:19.82).
  • Calvin Kremer took first in the 100-yard backstroke with a final time of 51.93.
  • Sebastian Smolecki came in first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a 59.62.
  • Jeremiah Mansavage finished first in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.47.
  • Mansavage also took home the 100-yard freestyle, finishing in 46.71.
  • Kremer continued his success in the 200-yard backstroke with a first-place time of 1:55.00.
  • Miles Rohrbaugh continued his strong season with wins in the one-meter and three-meter diving competitions. He scored a 371.18 points in the one-meter and 305.8 in the three-meter.
  • Alex Dunlevy swam a personal best in the 100-yard butterfly, finishing in 53.66.
  • Eric Wesolowski swam a personal best in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 2:16.80.
  • Boehnlein also got a personal best in the 100-yard backstroke, swimming a 52.82.
  • Ramiro Diaz finished with a personal best in the 200-yard freestlye, swimming a 1:46.19.

WOMEN’S HIGHLIGHTS

  • Kaleigh Gale took first in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:07.63
  • Esther Oswald took home the 100-yard backstroke with a final time of 1:00.18.
  • Malynn Tarczewski touched the wall first, in 1:08.69, in the 100-yard breaststroke. It was her first win of the season.
  • McKenna Metropulos finished first in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 53.93.
  • Oswald also took the 200-yard backstroke with a 2:11.81.
  • Faith Eilertson won the 200-yard breaststroke with a final time of 2:31.41.
  • Ella Anderson won the 100-butterfly with a 1:00.74, a personal best.
  • Jacqui Rude anchored the 200 freestyle relay, swimming a split of 23.92, the first time under 24 seconds this season.
  • Jordan Kuta won three-meter diving, scoring 236.93 in her first collegiate win.
  • Karlie Woodall took first-place in the one-meter diving, scoring 199.40 in her first collegiate win.

Green Bay will be back in action next weekend at the IUPUI Invite from Thursday, November 18 to Saturday, November 20.

GREEN BAY – St. Norbert College’s women’s swimming and diving squad reset four school records in a 220-66 dual meet setback to NCAA Division I opponent UW-Green Bay at Dorschel Natatorium.

Jenna Brandenburg broke her own St. Norbert standards in the 100- and 200-yard butterfly, posting times of 1:00.84 (second place) and 2:13.82 (first place), respectively. Megan Pierce added a new school record in the 200-yard backstroke with a second-place finish in 2:16.11. The 400-yard medley relay of Pierce, Katelyn Holmstrom, Brandenburg and Lacy Geurts also set a new mark with a time of 4:08.89 while finishing in third place.

Geurts won the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:00.56 and the 50-yard freestyle in 25.75 seconds. She added a third-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle in 56.48 seconds.

Lexi LaCombe finished in third place in the 1,000-yard freestyle in 11:37.51.
