Gkolomeev has been completely overshadowed by CD, but his dive was not as good (obviously) and his finish was mediocre and he still got under 19. I’ve got a feeling he will convert well in LCM.

I hope it translates to LCM. It would be great to have another solid leg on the 4×100.

Finally Usa could get that Gold medal ( hasn’t happened since 2009 )and i also sense that Caeleb would bring a serious leg to that wonderful relay . Grevers , Adrian , Phelps and Dressel – that quartet could do serious damage to any other team .

Without the mustache he kinda looks a lot like Mark Schubert. And that makes me feel nervous and kind of scared. Thank god you didn’t ask him about USRPT or I’d really be traumatized.

“He’s doing pretty good.” Haha, serious understatement. Coach Troy and his sprint coach (cannot remember his name unfortunately!) have done probably the hardest thing in our sport – take a fully developed sprinter, and help him go faster. There are so many variables – it’s not just aerobic capacity, muscular strength, and stroke technique. It’s also contending with central nervous system fatigue, which no one entirely understands, but which is the bane of fast sprinting. I admit I was skeptical of Caeleb’s decision to go to UF; but it has paid off in spades, and the coaching staff has done awesome work. Congrats to all.
