Harvard Announces Swimming and Diving Schedule for 2015-16 Season

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men’s swimming and diving announced its 2015-16 schedule Wednesday, featuring trips to Texas and Las Vegas, as well as two meets at Blodgett Pool.

The season gets underway November 13 with a trip to Ithaca, New York to square off against Cornell and Dartmouth. The diving portion of the meet will begin at 4:30 p.m. with the swimming competition beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 14. Ivy League action continues Friday, Nov. 20 with a 6 p.m. meet at Columbia.

Harvard’s only competition of December occurs at the Texas Invitational. The University of Texas plays host to the event December 4-7.

Following the New Year, the Crimson will host a pair of meets at Blodgett Pool. The first meet is against crosstown rival Boston College January 12 at 2 p.m. Harvard then hosts Brown and Penn January 16 at noon.

The following weekend, Harvard heads out to Las Vegas to compete against UNLV and Air Force January 23.

The regular season comes to a close January 29-30 with Princeton hosting the H-Y-P Meet at DeNunzio Pool.

Brown’s Katherine Moran Coleman Aquatics Center will serve as the host site for the Ivy League Championships February 25-27. Harvard finished as the runner-up at last season’s championship meet, one year after claiming the Ancient Eight title in 2013-14.
