High-Level International Meets For January 2020

We are finally on the cusp of entering the year 2020, which means we have just a handful of months until we know which swimming stars will be representing their respective nations in Tokyo at the Summer Olympic Games.

Before lineups are determined, however, athletes will be racing near and far to fine-tune their craft en route to qualification, and it all begins in January.

Take a look at the high-level international meets on the calendar for the first month of 2020 and let me know in the comments of any I may have missed.

Wow, didn’t notice that FINA Champions Series #1 and #2 are happening in Jan (first day is less than a month away). Has FINA announced who are invited and who are committed?

also wondering how many US pro swimmers, assuming getting invite, will go to the FINA events; and how many will choose to stay in US and raced at Pro Swim Series at Knoxville, TN that same week.
