Hosszu, Efimova and Gyurta To Compete In Saint Paul

The island of Saint Paul does not attract the world’s top athlete’s on a regular basis, but from December 28th-30th Hungarians Katinka Hosszu, Daniel Gyurta and Russian Yulia Efimova will be competing at the Indian Ocean Championship meet.

This is the 25th time the competition has been run and it has never attracted such high level competitors.

Two French Paralympians of note will be joining the international superstars. Charles Rozoy who is the S8 100 butterfly Paralympic champion and world record holder and Elodi Lorandi (S10) who was a multi-medalist in Beijing and London will also be competing.

The meet will also see the top swimmers from Madagascar, Mauritius and Seychelles compete for Indian Ocean titles.
