Houston Returns Home for Senior Day

HOUSTON – The University of Houston Swimming & Diving program will return to action at the Campus Recreation & Wellness Center on Feb.3.

Houston is set to a face Rice at 3 p.m. inside the CRWC Natatorium. Fans are encouraged to watch all the action via the Houston Swimming & Diving Facebook page. Live results can be access via Meet Mobile or by clicking HERE.

The Cougars return to action for the first time since Jan. 16 when the Cougars face the Aggies of Texas A&M. Laura Garcia Marin has had a stellar debut season for the Cougars earning a pair of top-10 times in program history and earning multiple podium finishes this season. The freshman currently holds the best time in the league this season in the 500 Freestyle.

Mykenzie Leehy has anchored the Cougars in the Freestyle holding the best times this season in The American in the 100 and 200 Freestyle.

Ioanna Sacha holds the top times in both the 100 and 200 Back in The American and looks to continue her home winning streak in the event.

The Cougars divers had held their own this season as freshman, Hedda Grelz has emerged as a leader on the springboard. Grelz won conference diver of the week honors once already this season.
