Alex!!!!
Dressel’s 100 fly just keeps getting better and better. Somehow in 2017 all of those crazy “he went fast in SCY so he’ll be stupid fast in LCM” commenters ended up actually being correct, than in 2018 after his accident it was relatively his best event compared to everything else. 2019 he somehow managed to have Cavic’s first 50 and Phelps second 50 at the same time. At the Olympics his turn and finish were garbage yet he still managed to lower his own record.
He looked so smooth and relaxed this morning. That 26.51 coming home while breathing into the wall is something to take note of. I predict 49.6 tonight.
not tonight.
but I feel he as something special to put Milak in his place
How to watch the distance finals???
Does anyone know how I can watch this from the UK?
VPN to the US.
Man, I hate looking at the results on the Omega system. Hyteks system is so much easier to flip through results.
How do I watch this from Europe?
No semis, right?
Right
Ridiculous. There’s zero chance I’m watching anything at 9 AM. These events should always be Las Vegas style of prelims at 4 PM and finals at 1 AM.
it isnt anyones fault you cant get up before 9
I was talking to Michael Hamann about this at NCAAs. One of the primary drags of swim meets is the prelims/finals nature of them.
Like, if I go to the NCAA basketball final four, I can go out after the games, I can go out before the games, I can do something fun in the afternoon…at a swim meet, you go sit through hours of prelims, go take a nap, find something quick to eat, and scramble to finals. It’s your whole day, and it’s the entirety of your trip (4-9 days). It’s not the framing of a trip.
If ISL can work out their pile of nonsense, this is the biggest thing they have going for them. Going to… Read more »
