Hungarians To Take Team Of 26 To Euro Championships

The Hungarian Short Course National Championships were held last weekend, a competition that was used as a selection meet for the European Short Course Championships. The Hungarian team that will be heading to Herning will consist of 26 athletes.

The team will of course be highlighted by World Championship gold medalist and World Cup Series champion Katinka Hosszu along with Olympic and World Champion Daniel Gyurta.

The full team will consist of:

Males (15): Gábor Balog, Péter Bernek, Bence Biczó, László Cseh, Dániel Dudás, Dávid Földházi, Dániel Gyurta, Gergely Gyurta, Dávid Horváth, Gergő Kis, Dominik Kozma, Bence Pulai, Patrik Rákos, Krisztián Takács, and Dávid Verrasztó.

Females (11): Eszter Dara, Adél Farkas, Fanni Ferenczi, Katinka Hosszú, Sára Joó, Ágnes Mutina, Melinda Novoszáth, Dalma Sebestyén, Liliána Szilágyi, Anna Sztankovics and Evelyn Verrasztó.

No Zsuzsanna Jakabos on the women’s roster?

I think there is a line of names missing on the Women’s roster as there are only 11 names listed and there should be 16

Scrap that. It seems there are 11 Women on the roster and the above list is correct (looking at another website)
