Indiana University Announces Barry King Resignation

BLOOMINGTON, – Ind. – Indiana University Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Fred Glass announced today that he has accepted the resignation of Barry King as IU’s head women’s water polo coach. King served 19 seasons as head coach after helping make women’s water polo a varsity sport in 1998.

Until a new head coach is hired, Assistant Coach Meaghan Poland will handle coaching duties for the program. In addition, Glass has organized a transition team to help oversee the women’s water polo program that will be led by Associate Athletic Director and water polo sport administrator Eric Neuburger.
