Assistant Swimming Coach   # NOTE 2 Vacancies Available

Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.  Works with the overall coaching, supervision, organization, development, and implementation of a Division I combined men’s and women’s swimming program. Recruits student athletes on- and off-campus as well as internationally; plans travel; performs equipment maintenance; and works with alumni and parent relations.

REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree and two years of high school, club, or college coaching experience.

An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered. Demonstrated knowledge of Big Ten and NCAA regulations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a high level of skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm for coaching; organizational abilities and professionalism; and a commitment to Big Ten and NCAA rules compliance.

Preferred: Four years of collegiate swimming or USA national team swimming experience.

Heard they are hiring a Sprint Coach (who’s already a volunteer assistant at IU) and a female assistant, so I guess that means their female assistant left?

Does anyone know more information on this item? Who left the program and why? Or are these just additional coaches being added?
