International Swimmers Grow Roster of Stars On Egraphs

Via Bobby Savulich, Founder and CEO of Athlete Approved;

March 11, 2013 – Seattle, WA. Egraphs, a seven-month old sports & entertainment-technology venture offering fans genuine, personal connections with stars, announced the addition of athletes in a new sport: International Swimming. The swimmers add to the list of over 350 Major League Baseball, National Basketball Association and motorsports stars already creating egraphs for their fans.

Egraphs.com lets fans send an online note to their favorite stars, and in return, the stars create an egraph: a one-of-a-kind audio message and handwritten note directly to that fan. Each egraph is unique, personal and sharable with the world.

U.S. swimmers include 10-time Olympic medalist Gary Hall Jr., three 4-time Olympic medalists – Peter Vanderkaay, Kaitlin Sandeno and Kara Lynn Joyce – Olympic medalists Mark Gangloff and Tyler McGill, 4-time Paralympic medalist Victoria Arlen and Bobby Savulich. Other Olympians live on the site are Arianna Vanderpool-Wallace (Bahamas) and Adam Brown (Great Britain). Arluck Promotions, the Fitter & Faster Swim Tour Presented by SwimOutlet.com and Athlete Approved – a company devoted to supporting Olympic hopefuls – were instrumental in bringing these elite swimmers a click away from their fans.

“Swimming adds a whole new element to our Egraphs roster of stars,” said David Auld, Egraphs’ CEO. “We couldn’t be more pleased to see new sports coming on board. It’s a great testament to our platform that these stars see Egraphs as a fun, new way to connect with fans all over the world.”

“Egraphs offers a creative platform for sports stars to connect directly with their fans,” said David Arluck President of Arluck Promotions, Inc and the Fitter & Faster Swim Tour Presented by SwimOutlet.com. “We are excited that we have a number of our swimmer clients signed up with the launch of the Egraphs swimming channel and we’re excited to help them reach out to the larger swimming community.”

Egraphs are designed to be personal and meaningful. In addition, they are ideal for many occasions – whether it’s a friend’s birthday, Mother’s Day, a graduation gift or just because you are a huge fan of the star – an egraph makes it truly memorable.

Fans initiate the process by sending an individualized message through egraphs.com to one of the stars on Egraphs’ roster. The star opens the message and then uses a custom iPad app to respond to the fan’s note, making the whole process interactive, fun and tailor-made for each fan.

A fan receiving a digital egraph will get a 100% personal and authenticated audio message and handwritten note – along with a handpicked high-resolution digital photograph – that is sharable online and offline.

Egraphs range in price from $20 to $125.
