Iowa Set To Compete At Minnesota Invitational

THE SCENE 
The University of Iowa swimming and diving team is back in the water this week, traveling to Minneapolis to compete at the Minnesota Invitational. The three-day meet begins Thursday with prelims starting at 9 a.m. (CT) each day, followed by finals at 5 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Iowa men’s and women’s diving team competed at the Minnesota Diving Invitational from Nov. 9-11. Jayah Mathews dove to a second place finish off the 1-meter with a score of 282.80, while Thelma Standberg and Morgan Rafferty placed seventh and eighth in the event, respectively. Anton Hoherz placed fourth off the 3-meter with a score of 364.00. The swimmers last competed on Nov. 3, with the men’s squad downing No. 23 Purdue, 152-148.
