Iowa State’s Wistey, TCU’s Robinson Named Big 12 Swimmers of the Week

Note that the below awards were done prior to Texas’ dual meet against Auburn.

Student-athletes from three league schools were recognized with the first swimming and diving weekly awards of 2014 based on performances from Dec. 10 through Jan. 5. Cooper Robinson (TCU) was honored with the men’s swimming award while Cory Bowersox (UT) garnered the diving accolade. On the women’s side, Imelda Wistey (ISU) was named the swimmer of the week while Maren Taylor (UT) was awarded the diving honor.

Taylor picks up the eighth Big 12 weekly honor of her career while Bowersox, Robinson and Wistey all notch their second awards.
