Tereysa Lehnertz, Iowa

Jr. – Iowa City, Iowa – Iowa City West

  • Claimed Iowa’s lone first-place finish in Iowa’s double dual meet against Notre Dame and Michigan State, clocking in at 2:19.54 in the 200-meter butterfly to win by four-tenths of a second
  • Placed second in the 400-meter free relay (4:05.46) and third in the 400-meter medley relay (4:24.63)
  • The 2015-16 Academic All-Big Ten honoree earns her first career Big Ten Swimmer of the Week award

Diver of the Week

Jacintha Thomas, Iowa

So. – Iowa City, Iowa – Iowa City West

  • Led Iowa with a pair of top-three finishes in the diving well in Iowa’s double dual meet against Notre Dame and Michigan State
  • Tallied first- and third-place finishes in the one-meter (272.85) and three-meter (283.35) diving events, respectively
  • Earns her first career Diver of the Week honor

Freshman of the Week
Hannah Burvill, Iowa

Fr. – Pyrford, Great Britain – Notre Dame Senior School, Cobham

  • Collected three top-five finishes in Iowa’s double dual meet against Notre Dame and Michigan State
  • Finished third in the 200-meter freestyle (2:08.87), the 100-meter freestyle (:59.45) and the 400-meter medley relay (4:24.63)
  • Earns her first Freshman of the Week award
