Tickets for the London stop of the inaugural International Swimming League season went on sale Friday morning local time, and tickets for all U.S. meets other than the final in Las Vegas will go on sale shortly – at noon Eastern time on the ISL website.
Two-day passes for the November 23-24 meet in London are already sold out (those tickets ranged from £36-£46 ($44-$57). Single tickets remain for both days at the following rates:

It’s unclear as of now when tickets for the other European stops will be released. The Naples, Italy meet takes place October 12-13 and Hungary, Budapest is slated to host October 26-27.
Tickets for three U.S. meets will be available Friday. The meet dates were each recently shifted one day later to take place fully over the weekend (rather than Friday-Saturday, as they were previously schedule). These are the U.S. meets about to go on sale:
- 5-6 October 2019 – IU Natatorium, Indianapolis, USA
- 19-20 October 2019 – The LISD Westside Aquatic Center, Lewisville, Texas, USA
- 16-17 November 2019 – Natatorium at the Eppley Recreation Center, Maryland, USA

Bought my tickets for London, having been to events there before didn’t look at the seating chart as I didn’t consider that paying for a ‘Premium’ ticket would actually have me sat completely away from the pool! Ah well – my mistake!

I think that there’s enough curiosity and hype for year 1 that they’ll sell out. The crucial task will be delivering a good enough show that it sells out again in year 2 (or that it sells out the final in Las Vegas in a bigger venue). Most of the ISL venues are not that big.
Really affordable for the London ISL when compared to other sporting events in the city.
That’s pretty expensive for the Washington meet!

Phelps surprise comeback
Would Phelps’ pot suspension = not be allowed to compete in the ISL?

Phelps’ was a conduct suspension. Marijuana is only banned in competition, it’s legal out of competition.
That’s right. I remember that FINA even invited him to participate as an unaffiliated athlete at the world champs during the suspension, but he declined.
Under Federal law, it’s not “legal” anywhere in the United States.
Ok cool, but I think you know that we’re not talking about United States federal law, and rather referring to the World Anti-Doping Code.
