SPIRE Institute and Academy (IA), a premier sports academy and boarding school in Geneva, Ohio, welcomes post graduate students to further train for their swimming careers and expand their academic and life skills while exploring and pursuing admission to the best colleges and universities.

The Post Graduate Program helps high school graduates to further their athletic and mental development via training and competition, while taking college courses if desired, all in Olympic grade facilities.

As a member of the post graduate family, athletes are challenged to bring their best to ensure success at the college level.

High School Graduates Enjoy the Benefits of SPIRE’s Post Grad Academy Continued Swim Training and Educational Opportunities.

This has been a challenging year for young athletes around the world. Due to the pandemic, many athletes have missed the opportunities to train and compete enough to be noticed by college coaches.

AT SPIRE, YOU DON’T HAVE TO FIND THE BEST COLLEGE COACHES. THEY’LL FIND YOU.

Additionally, graduating seniors are not always ready physically, technically or competitively to excel at their desired level of sport. They may also be looking at spending a year living independently and continuing their academic studies to better prepare themselves for the transition to college life.

It’s important to remember that a post graduate year does not affect a student’s NCAA eligibility. SPIRE post grad students can also choose to take two courses for credit each semester at nearby Kent State-Ashtabula without affecting college eligibility.

Director of College Placement and Planning Jennifer Pruzinsky brings 15 years of work experience within the field of higher education, including the National Association for College Admission Counseling. She understands that choosing a college is an important and overwhelming time, and she is available to guide all SPIRE post grad swim students through this exciting journey.
