Cal sophomore Jack Alexy made a big jump this year, going from qualifying for the NCAAs to being one of Cal’s top scorers in their quest for back-to-back national titles. Alexy has kept his momentum rolling into the long course season, clocking a personal best of 22.0 in the 50m free while taking the win at the Pro Swim in Westmont. Alexy explains that after last year, he really zeroed in on what his goals were and was able to take his training to a new level because of it.
Way to go Jack. It’s great to see you realize your potential. Congratulations to a great young man.
According to one of the Cal coaches, Jack came into this season more dedicated to reach his potential. He had an impressive sophomore campaign and the team expects him to continue to be a leader. I had a chance to speak with Jack and his mother in Minneapolis. Great young gentleman, great mother.
I was talking to Matt Bowe about this guy at NCAA’s. He said his skills are still pretty raw but he is the real deal! Watch out 👀
🐻🥇🌟💥💪🏼
This is great news. We need some sprinters to step it up in long course.
Michael, who?
