BREA Aquatics’ Jenna Lloyd has verbally committed to swim for San Jose State University for the 2016-17 season, joining recent commit, Katie McIntee. Lloyd is a senior at Diamond Bar High School in Southern California. She told SwimSwam:
“I felt connected to the team and the coaches right away! I love the environment of the school and the team made me feel like family! My recruit trip was nothing short of awesome! I am looking forward to becoming part of a successful team and improving both in my swimming, academically!”
Recipient of Diamond Bar’s “Most Spirited” award in 2014, Lloyd was voted “MVP” in 2015. During the 2013-14 season she broke the Diamond Bar High School records in the 100 breast and 50 free, and then lowered both marks the following year. Lloyd is also a member of the relay teams that hold the school records in the 4×50 free, 4×100 free, and 200 medley.
