BREA Aquatics’ Jenna Lloyd has verbally committed to swim for San Jose State University for the 2016-17 season, joining recent commit, Katie McIntee. Lloyd is a senior at Diamond Bar High School in Southern California. She told SwimSwam:

“I felt connected to the team and the coaches right away!  I love the environment of the school and the team made me feel like family!  My recruit trip was nothing short of awesome!  I am looking forward to becoming part of a successful team and improving both in my swimming, academically!”

Recipient of Diamond Bar’s “Most Spirited” award in 2014, Lloyd was voted “MVP” in 2015. During the 2013-14 season she broke the Diamond Bar High School records in the 100 breast and 50 free, and then lowered both marks the following year. Lloyd is also a member of the relay teams that hold the school records in the 4×50 free, 4×100 free, and 200 medley.

A member of the national team at BREA Aquatics, Lloyd’s best times include:

  SCY LCM

200 breast 2:18.72 2:42.16
200 IM 2:08.85 2:30.28
50 free 24.52 28.45
