Jenna Pehowski to Remain In State; Commits to South Carolina

Jenna Pehowski, a senior at Fort Mill High School in Fort Mill, South Carolina, has elected to swim for the University of South Carolina next fall.

“I am excited to announce my verbal commitment to swim for the University of South Carolina. USC has the perfect balance between athletics and academics, and I am grateful to have the opportunity to thrive in such a positive environment. I am thankful for my family, friends, and coaches who have supported me throughout the years, along with the coaches and team at USC who have been incredibly helpful in this process. I cannot wait to be a Gamecock!!”

Pehowski was runner-up in the 200 free (1:55.88) and took fifth in the 500 free (5:16.24) at the 2016 SCHSL 5A Championships last October.
