Jillian Visscher Gives Verbal Commit To Louisville Cardinals

Jillian Visscher of Oregon has given her verbal commitment to swim for Coach Arthur Albiero and the University of Louisville Cardinals.

Visscher comes from the Clackamas High School (CHS) Swim Team where she was a 2015 All-American in the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly events.  At the 2015 Oregon State High School Championships, Visscher set a new OSAA record in the 100 backstroke en route to her winning the state title.

Swimming under Coach Matt Crum of the Oregon City Swim Team, Visscher earned a 1st place finish in the 100 freestyle, 2nd place in the 100 backstroke and 2nd in the 100 butterfly at the 2015 Senior Sectionals in Federal Way.

Visscher’s best short course yards times include:

50 Freestyle: 23.01
100 Freestyle: 49.29
100 Backstroke: 54.10
200 Backstroke: 1:57.00
100 Butterfly: 54.10
200 IM: 2:03.06

Coach Crum deserves credit for how much time and effort he put into the team, says Visscher.  “He has made it possible for me to excel in swimming!”

As for the future with the Cardinals squad, Visscher says “I am so excited to swim for Arthur and the University of Louisville.  The girls are incredible and I look forward to being part of the team!
