RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Directly oversee all aspects of the Senior and National Groups
- Plan, prepare and conduct swimming and dryland workouts for Level 3, Senior, and national swimmers
- Create and carry out seasonal registrations for all groups
- Must work with WARC and high school staff to coordinate practice times/home meet schedules
- Have the ability to fill in and coach all levels
- Create meet schedule and carry out all meet billing
- Oversee private lesson scheduling and billing
- Review and work with all coaches to season plan and insure appropriate coaching coverage of all groups and meets
- Be an energetic, compassionate teacher and a strong motivator capable of molding successful swimmers in and out of the water, while allowing individuals to define success for themselves
- Assist swimmers in developing and improving the technical and physical skills of competitive swimming, and aid them in achieving success, as it pertains to each individual
- Play an integral part in community engagement and sponsorships
- Travel to local and out-of-state meets
- Work directly with the WSL board and other coaches to create a positive and inclusive team environment
- Perform additional administrative duties that pertain to the daily operations of the club such as website updates and registration.
- Assist with programming needs and performs other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: [The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum education and/or hands-on experience necessary to perform each essential responsibility.]
- Current USA Swimming coach member in good standing, including all courses and certifications
- Willing to take part in continued education
- Has a vision, a plan and the drive to take the team to the next level.
- Has comprehensive knowledge and understanding of competitive swimming, stroke mechanics, strength and conditioning training, Safe Sport, dryland exercises, and USAS rules and regulations.
- Has legal authority to work in the USA and with a valid driver’s license.
- Prior experience training, managing and developing assistant coaches is preferred
- Has excellent communication, organizational, motivational skills, and strong sense of personal responsibility and integrity.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
