Location: NL Aquatic Center, Preston Avenue, Voorhees Township, NJ, USA
South Jersey Aquatic Club is seeking an assistant coach to work with our National Team.
SJAC consistently produces Junior and Senior National qualifiers and is a top 50 club in the USA Swimming Short Course Virtual Championship
Our National group is for high school aged athletes who are serious about conditioning and continual improvement. Technique and training are highly emphasized in this group with the goal of qualifying for both LSC and higher level championship meets.
Qualifications
1 – Hard working, personable and enthusiastic
2 – A strong understanding of stroke mechanics and training principles
3 – Maintain USA Swimming certifications and background checks
4 – Prior coaching experience in the 13 & over age group level
5 – Ability to build strong relationships with swimmers, parents and other coaches
Requirements
1 – Attend group workouts as scheduled
2 – Attend all meets as scheduled
3 – Work with the group head coach to design / implement the training program.
4 – Assist with communication and meet entries
5 – Knowledge of GAIN for Dryland training is preferred
