Gulliver Preparatory School’s Aquatics Department is currently seeking a Swim School Director to join our team of professionals. Minimum Qualifications

- CPR/AED Certification, First Aid Certification, Coaches Safety and Safe Sport Certifications.
- Water Safety Instructor Certification.

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Plans, organizes, develops and conducts training sessions for the BCST Swim Team swimmers.
- Ensures that swimmers involved in the BCST Swim Team program participate regularly in team workouts, training sessions, and meetings. Maintains detailed records of all swimmer’s workouts and attendance.
- Enter, manage meet entries, accompanies swimmers to scheduled meets. Supervises pre-meet warmups and motivates and evaluates swimmers during the meet.

Under the supervision of the Head Coach, the Assistant Coach for the Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving teams is working in the primary capacity of an educator and enhances the student-athlete experience and satisfaction as well as raise the College’s image and reputation through building and maintaining a competitive athletic program. The Assistant Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in educating, coaching, training, assessing, mentoring, and recruiting members of the team. This is a nine-month position.
Responsibilities:
Assist the head coach with the oversight of the daily aspects of the men’s and women’s swimming and diving program and will participate as an active member of the Athletics Department. Hartwick College is a member of the Empire 8 Conference and the NCAA Division III.
- Assist the head coach with the organization and operation of all aspects of a competitive swimming and diving program (player skill development, directing and implementing plans for daily practices and competitions, and overall administrative tasks within the operation of the program.
- Identify and recruit athletically and academically qualified student-athletes.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
