The Role 

As a Systems Administrator at Spiraledge, you will be joining a team at the forefront of redefining the future of efficient operations of the Spiraledge Information Technology systems that support organizational core functions.

What you will do the first 90 days

  • Provide end-user support for IT-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist with the setup and configuration of computers and software for new employees.
  • Support the development team in projects involving the enhancement of our cloud infrastructure.
  • Facilitate the migration to more efficient and secure cloud services.
  • Conduct user training sessions as needed to ensure efficient use of IT resources.

What you will continue to do  

  • Manage the IT Support System and respond to tickets.
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and related hardware/software.
  • Oversee system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Perform system upgrades following new releases.
  • Administer systems like Google, Office 365, and other similar platforms.
  • Monitor and maintain critical systems such as servers and cloud services.
  • Collect and analyze data to optimize performance.
  • Make upgrades and repairs as needed.
  • Ensure network connectivity throughout the site’s LAN/WAN infrastructure.
  • Assist with new user onboarding and provide ongoing end-user support.
  • Maintain the company Backup and Disaster Recovery Plan.
  • Build and maintain internal technical documentation, manuals, and IT operating procedures.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant field, or two to four years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with a ticketing/ITSM system is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.

What’s Good to Know 

  • Occasional travel may be requested.
  • General understanding of major RDBMS with emphasis on MSSQL.
  • General desktop OS knowledge (PC and Server).
  • General network communication, network security, network administration, and wireless networking knowledge.
  • Google Cloud or similar virtual cloud provider specifically in building and maintaining infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting eCommerce websites.
  • Experience supporting mobile apps.

  • Our Fulfillment Center located in West Chester, OH
  • This role is an on-site role.
