Second-seeded Justina Kozan is a scratch out of day 3 heats at Junior Nationals. Kozan dropped off of start lists in the 100 fly.

Kozan did swim the 200 fly and a 4×100 free relay earlier in the meet, but has also scratched out of most of her individual events. Many of the top-seeded scratches are the same way: Noah Brune scratched the boys 400 – he did swim the 1500 early in the meet, but hasn’t competed since. Natalie Mannion is out of the 400 free. She swam the 200 fly early in the meet, but has scratched out of the remainder of her events so far.

A few others: Isabel Gormley is out of the 400 free – she hasn’t competed at all this week. Third-seeded Danny Syrkin dropped the 100 fly – he already competed in the 200 fly and 100 free this week.
