Kaelyn Gardner Commits to King’s College

King’s College has added a new member to their recruiting class, as West Virginia-based Kaelyn Gardner has given her verbal commitment to join the Lions as a freshman in the 2017-18 season. Gardner is from Shenandoah Junction, West Virginia, where she attends and competes for the swim team at Jefferson High School. When she graduates, she’ll be moving out to Pennsylvania to start with the Lions.

Gardner recently competed at the West Virginia Region 2 High School Championships. There, she competed in the 100 back and 200 IM, posting personal best times in each. Gardner is a versatile swimmer, as those aren’t her only focus events. She’s competed across all 4 strokes and in all distances for Jefferson High School.

Gardner took to twitter to talk about her commitment, posting the following tweet:

“Happy to announce my verbal commitment to King’s College to further my education and continue my swimming career!”
