Katinka Hosszu gewinnt die 400 m Lagen in neuem Veranstaltungsrekord in einer Zeit von 4:30,90 – mit klarem Vorsprung vor der Britin Hannah Miley und ihrer Teamkameradin Zsuzsanna Jakabos:
1. Katinka Hosszu (HUN), 4:30.90
2. Hannah Miley (GBR), 4:35.27
3. Zsuzsanna Jakabos  (HUN), 4:38.39

Damit hat die IronLady ihren dritten Europameistertitel über die 400  Lagen gewonnen. Und sie scheint im Moment über diese Strecke unschlagbar – weltweit.
