Kelsi Worrell: I Was Hoping to Just Hit My Walls and Learn Something From This Meet”

Kelsi Worrell swam a 50.17 in the 100 yard butterfly on day 3 of the 2015 ACC Championships in Atlanta, Georgia, which marks the 4th-best time in swimming history.

Above, Worrell talks to SwimSwam’s Max Mitchell about the race, saying that she didn’t think she’d be quite this fast yet, and that her 49.8 split on the medley relay “really hurt” so she was surprised when she saw the number.
