Lakeside Aquatic Club Releases Fall Classic Info

FLOWER MOUND, TX (9/15/2015) – Lakeside Aquatic Club, one of the premier teams in Texas will be hosting a long-course prelim/final meet in November for swimmers of any age who have achieved 15/16 USAS “AA” time standards.

“This is the last year of the quad and so this is a big year for swimming,” says Jason Walter, Head Coach of LAC.

“Swimmers want to qualify for Olympic Trials as early as possible. By providing the swim community a long-course prelim/final meet at this time of year in the southern part of the United States, we hope to give as many swimmers a quality tune up meet prior to Nationals and Junior Nationals in December. We expect a high quality meet for those swimmers who are focused on long course swimming. LAC expects a number of National team and National Junior team members to attend this meet.”

The meet will begin on Friday, November 6th and run through Sunday night, November 8th. The meet format is morning prelims, with A – D finals. Full meet information can be found HERE on LAC’s website. The LISD Westside Aquatic Center in Lewisville, TX is rapidly gaining a reputation as one of the fastest pools in Texas. WAC has great air quality and over 10 lanes of warm-up cool down. LAC is capping the meet at the first 600 swimmers entered. Entry deadline is October 29th or as soon as the entry cap is reached.
