Leah Hayes, 13, powered her way to a 2nd-place finish in finals of the 200 IM at the 2019 Speedo Junior National Championships. Between her morning and evening swim, Hayes took 4.56 seconds off of her entry time of 2:17.62. Her time makes her the second fastest 13-14 200 IMer of all-time in the United States.

There’s something with Riptide. 🙂 Regan Smith’s club is Riptide. Leah Hayes’ club is Fox Valley District Riptide team.
Impressive showing from the 13-year-old girl in IM races this week. 2.13 and 4.46, WOW!
