Ever wondered what exactly goes on behind the scenes in hosting the world’s largest competitive sporting event, the Olympic Games? It’s not all just glitz and glamour, it’s coordination, hard labor and long hours to get everything just right for the globe to be in awe once it’s showtime.

Take a look at this video, which throws out the facts and figures of the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, now that we’re less than 200 days out from the Opening Ceremonies.

Details on the torch relay, the athletes expected, as well as the overall nuts and bolts of the operation are revealed, all to a catchy tune.

  • 105 countries have qualified for 2016 Rio so far, across 31 sports
  • 44 qualifying tournaments will be held prior to the Olympics
  • 95 days – the duration of the Olympic torch relay
  • 12,000 torch bearers
  • 300 cities in which the torch will visit
  • 20,000 km the torch will travel across land, 10,000 miles by air
  • 8,400 shuttlecocks will be used in the Games, along with 315 horses
