Academy Bullets Swim Club won the combined Age Group title by 178.5 points over FMC Aquatic. Academy Bullets were propelled to the combined title by the women’s team, who won the women’s title by 289.5 points. Winning the men’s title was NASA Wildcat Aquatics with 1048.5 points, with Fox Valley Swim Team finishing 2nd with 890 points. The Academy Bullets men’s team was 4th with 761.5 points.

In a meet that featured some of the top talent among age group swimmers in Illinois, there were many impressive performances. 12 year old Lia Roggi brought in 138 points for Academy Bullets Swim Club. She had top-three performances in every event that she swam. Roggi won the 11-12 100 IM (59.90) by a little more than three seconds. She was a member of Academy Bullet’s winning 11-12 400 medley relay that featured Annabelle Nawrocki (1:00.19), Paige Kowal (1:08.96), Roggi (59.43), and Chloe Karkazis (55.99). Roggi was 2nd in the individual 100 butterfly (58.15). Roggi also won the 100 backstroke (59.94). Finishing 2nd was Nawrocki (1:00.76). Academy Bullets also won the 11-12 400 freestyle relay with Nawrocki (55.13), Roggi (53.03), Kowal (55.92), and Karkazis (57.10).
10 year old Avery Musick of NASA Wildcat Aquatics scored 146 points for her team at this meet. She won five events at age group championships: 100 butterfly (1:08.54), 100 freestyle (59.73), 50 backstroke (30.92), 200 IM (2:27.38), and 100 backstroke (1:04.50). Musick was the only swimmer to break 1:00 in the 100 freestyle.
Paxton Sagun, a 10 year old from NASA Wildcat Aquatics brought in 134 points for his team. He won the 100 breaststroke (1:17.28) and 50 breaststroke (35.47). He won the 100 breaststroke by three seconds. He had eight top three finishes over the course of the meet.
Also sweeping the breaststroke events was 12 year old Braden Meurer of Fox Valley Swim Team, who scored 121 points for his team. Meurer won the 100 breaststroke (1:04.58). He was entered with a time of 1:06.27 seconds, then posted a 1:05.94 in prelims, before dropping even more time during finals. Meurer won the 200 breaststroke by nearly seven seconds (2:18.83), following up that performance by winning the 50 breaststroke (30.12).
