Fast Forward to the 4:00 mark to see the relevant verse.
Multi-time platinum-selling artist Lil’ Wayne called out Ryan Lochte on his appearance this week on the Ellen Degeneres Show.
Lil’ Wayne appeared alongside Chance the Rapper on the show, performing the song “No Problem.”
The lyrics in the recorded version of the song read:
And if that label try to stop me
There gon’ be some crazy Weezy fans waitin’ in the lobby
But in the Ellen version of the song, Lil’ Wayne (also known as Weezy) changed the line to:
“And if Cash Money tries to stop me, I’mma let ’em rob me, yeah right, like Ryan Lochte.”
This cut will be especially hurtful to Lochte, who named his dog Carter, reportedly as a nod to Lil’ Wayne (whose real last name is Carter).
The reference is an allusion to Lochte’s claim that he was robbed at gun point outside of a Rio de Janeiro gas station in the early morning hours after the last swimming session of the 2016 Olympics. Later it was revealed that Lochte and 3 of his American swimmer teammates had urinated on the back of the gas station and that Lochte pulled a sign off the wall.
Full details are still fuzzy (and may always be), but a security guard at the gas station is believed to have pulled a gun on the foursome and asked for payment for the damages caused.
The four received punishments from the USOC last week, which for Lochte included a 10 month suspension and a forfeiture of all of his USOC prize money.
While this improvised verse might never make its way into the album version of the song, Lochte is mentioned in the Lyrics of several other hiphop songs (see them on Genius.com).
Lochte wasn’t the only swimmer to make an appearance on the show this week. World Record holder Katie Ledecky made an appearance a day earlier, though in a much more positive regard.

This is so dumb. Obviously Wayne wasn’t dissing him. Opposite.
I think he should be banded he embrassed usa
JKL, all we want him to do is to fly back to Brazil and face justice. After he has done that, everybody will go back to hero-worshipping him.
There’s no reason for him to fly back to Rio. There is no “justice” waiting there for him. He hasn’t been convicted of a crime. Brazilian authorities have said that Lochte doesn’t need to come back. They said he can be deposed in the United States, and send his attorney instead. Which makes sense for such a minor crime.
The United States and Brazil do have an extradition treaty, but filing a false report isn’t eligible under the treaty. It’s not a serious enough crime. The lists of crimes eligible under the treaty are robbery, larceny, and murder. Or crimes that carry at least more than a one year sentence. And unlike the U.S., Brazil reserves the right to… Read more »

Who is Lil’ Wayne?
Great reply!!
The Lochte brand is exploding. A reality TV gig and now a staged rivalry with a rapper. You can go no higher on the Hollywood B list.
