Could you possibly put the heat sheets on so we can see who is swimming because of the no sound in the live video?
Hi. If you check out our live recaps, we have the heat sheets posted there. The heat sheets for each session don’t come out until the day of (finals) or possibly the night before (prelims)
Fastest girl in the pool tonight Mallory Comerford,Uof LOUISVILLE split 1:40.2 on 800Free Relay !!!
The IUPUI link says LIVE NOW, but nothing is on screen. It came online promptly at 4:30 Indianapolis time. Anyone know what’s going on? Will we have a live feed after all? Thanks.
it looks like it’s up and running… but I have no audio. Anyone else have issues? And is this the actual swimming? Or a recording?
No audio
Sure hope this is not an indication of things to come this week for televising this meet.
What event numbers are swum each day? I can’t tell from the psych sheet. Plus I’m just ignorant.
Click on the link from last years results. The order of events should be the same for this year.
Thanks
This year’s live results may also help… 🙂

NCAA event lineup:
Relay night (Wed) 800 FR/ 200MR
Day 1: 500/2IM/50 and 200 FR
Day 2: 4IM/100 Fly/2Free/100 breast/ 100 back and 400 MR
Day 3: 1650/2 Back/100 Free/2 Breast/ 2 fly and 400 FR (not sure if I have 100 free in the right sequence here)
The 200 MR is not Wednesday night. It’s swum prelim/finals on Friday. The 400 medley relay is on Thursday along with the 200 free relay.
Good catch, thanks. I got mixed up with the typical conference relay lineup.
Other than Ledecky dropping bombs. I think that the best event in swimming ( The100 free) will be the most exciting race of the meet
I would say the 100 back will be the most exciting. Any of the finalists will have a chance to win and any of them could break the record. It is loaded
Is there going to be an ncsa live results feature?
Does anyone know if you’re going to need a cable subscription for the live stream?
Possibly for Friday and Saturday finals. I’ll look into it
yes you need a cable subscription (or someone else’s password…..shh!)
ESPN3 is the killer on minor sports. You can only watch it with a cable subscription, and still it’s hard and complicated to get on. It hurts minor sports because it’s harder for casual fans to watch than just clicking a live stream.
It’s the classic case of trying to gain a profit before the sport has a big enough audience.
Great job and thank you, Lauren!
On 200, we didn’t realize that SwimSwam picked Ledecky over Manuel. But I wasn’t surprised if she wins. If Ledecky is within Manuel’s hips in the last 50, I think Ledecky can chase her down. She is so good.
This event is the most exciting for me to see who will win. Most likely the winner will crack 1:40 but I am not sure if the American record will be broken.
It’s a tough call. Manuel has the front end speed, but Ledecky is an incredible closer. Since she was 1:40.5 and came that close to Manuel right after the 400 IM at Pac-12s, I feel like she’ll be able to get the job done when she’s fresh. I’d predict sub-1:40, but I feel like Franklin’s record has a good shot at standing.
