Loughborough Leads after two days of competition at the BUCS Long Course Championships

After two days of competition at the British Universities and Colleges Sport Long Course Swimming Championships Loughborough University sits on top of the overall team standings. The top three teams area as follows:

Loughborough – 210

Swansea – 144

Stirling – 127

There are several British Olympians that are competing in the this three day event.

Hannah Miley who won the 400 IM at the World Short Course Championships in December came away with wins in the 800 freestyle (8:33.98) and the 400 IM (4:36.08).

Roberto Pavoni won the 400 Im in a time of 4:22.01 finishing just ahead of Matthew Johnson who posted a time of 4:22.07.

Rebecca Turner won the 200 freestyle in a time of 1:59.42, while Georgia Davies won the 50 backstroke in a time of 28.37.
