The Loyola women have added another member to their recruiting class following a commitment by Taylor Surfus. She’ll be staying in state next year, as Surfus currently lives in Corwnsville, Maryland. Her club training base is with Spy Swimming, and she’ll be making the move to Loyola after graduating from Old Mill High School.

Surfus formerly attended Hershey High School In Pennsylvania. While competing for Hershey, she swam at the 2015 Pennsylvania Girls AAA District 3 Championships. At that meet, Surfus raced to a new personal best in the 500 free with her 5:16.43. In addition to the distance freestyles, Surfus could be a contributor for the Greyhounds in the butterflies and sprint freestyles as well.
