Madeleine Lepesant Commits to Swim at D3 Hamilton College for 2015-16

Madeleine Lepesant, a senior at Southern California’s Pasadena High School, will swim for Hamilton College beginning in the fall of 2015. Lepesant trains with Terry Stoddard at Swim Pasadena, where she excels at butterfly and distance free.

Lepesant recently competed at the CIF-Southern Section Division II championships in the 100 fly and on Pasadena’s 200 medley and 400 free relays. Her top times include:

Event SCY LCM
200 fly 2:14.16 2:25.87
100 fly 1:00.96 1:08.37
1650/1500 free 18:28.82 18:42.85
1000/800 free 11:06.37 9:49.31

Lepesant’s best times would have scored for Coach T.J. Davis’ Continentals at the 2015 NESCAC Championships in each of her top events. She is currently right at, or within striking distance of, Hamiton’s all-time top ten performance list in both flys and both distance free events.
