Week three’s WISCA polls for high school girls swimming in Wisconsin were updated last night, with some turnover at the top in Division II.
McFarland, which led Division II for the first two weeks of the season, has been knocked off by Madison Edgewood. The latter team now ranks atop the division, with McFarland exactly 100 points behind. An explanation of the scoring is available down below.
The huge move in Division II came from Ashwaubenon, however– the team rocketed up to the eighth spot, jumping a whopping 29 spots.
In Division I, defending state champions Arrowhead have continued to climb in the rankings, now sitting at third after vaulting six spots. Middleton and Verona Area-Mount Horeb remain at #1 and #2, respectively, as they’ve been ranked as such for all three polls now.
Cedarburg also made moves in Division 1, slinking up eight slots to a solid #4.

RANKINGS METHODOLOGY
The weekly WISCA polls are computer generated and based on the WISCA Top Times database.
The polls are generated at midnight each Sunday. Individuals are scored in their top two scoring events only.
Points are awarded as follows:
Individuals: 1st Place – 30 points – 30th Place – 1 point (1 point increments)
Relays: 1st Place – 60 points – 30th Place – 2 points (2 point increments)
