Malibu Seawolves Swimming Hire Jim Richey as Head Coach

Malibu Seawolves Swimming has officially hired a new Head Coach for our program. Effective March 1st, Jim Richey will begin as program head of Malibu Seawovles Swimming.

Jim is moving to California from Boulder, Colorado where he acted as Head Coach of Boulder Swimming (a USA Swimming Silver Medal Club) for the past 13 years. During his tenure in Boulder, Jim served as Vice President of the Suburban Swim League and Senior Chairman of Colorado Swimming. Jim has had swimmers at the 2002, 2008 & 2012 Olympic Trials and has also been named Colorado Coach of the Year. Previous to coaching in Boulder, Jim was the Head Coach of Bakersfield Aquatics where he coached Olympians Larsen Jensen & Gabe Woodward.

Malibu Seawolves Swimming is excited for Jim to share his knowledge and depth of experience within the program.
