Earlier this week Astashinka won gold in the women’s 50 meter breaststroke with her time of 31.58. Tomorrow she will compete in the 100 meter breaststroke and have a change to go for her third individual gold medal of the meet. The Jr World record in the women’s 100 breaststroke will be much harder to reach, although it is not out of the picture. Rita Meilutyte currently holds the Jr World Record with her time of 1:05.21.
